On the way we visited The Theatre of Aspendos. It’s the best preserved ancient theatre in Asia Minor and the most magnificent roman building of the province of Pamphylia. This image shows one of the side entrance areas.

Today we went to Hagia Sophia, once a Mosque, now a museum. The main area is magnificant. The area and grandeur is astonishing.

An amazing town with streets all over the place just like this one.

The old houses are crammed together with tiny we streets separating them with barely enough space to get a car through, hence the use of bikes.

The settlement of Komiža was first mentioned in the 12th century. In the 13th century, the Benedictines established the St. Nicholas Monastery on elevated ground above the settlement.
